Siberian Husky

Used as a sled dog in Admiral Byrd’s Antarctica Expedition, the Husky made its first appearance in the United States in the All Alaska Sweepstakes Race in 1909. The breed won that race the following year. Friendly and gentle, the Husky has an independent nature. An understanding owner will find this breed an enjoyable companion. They are energetic and require a lot of exercise and walks.

AVERAGE WEIGHT: 35-60 lbs.
AVERAGE HEIGHT: 21-24” at shoulder
